Beach Near Dockyard

Traveling on the Crown Princess and will be in port for one day in August. We are looking for a beach near the Dockyard, preferably one where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and have a drink. Any suggestions?

The beach at the dockyards is called Snorkel Beach and you can rent a variety of things there. It is located just pass the museum and Dolphin Quest.

The beach at the dockyards is called Snorkel Beach and you can rent a variety of things there. It is located just pass the museum and Dolphin Quest.

The snorkel beach is not the travel brochure image of a Bermuda beach you might have in mind. It is rocky and you need some type of footwear. For snorkleing it is fine but I would prefer to travel to Horseshoe Beach, which has endless pink sand, changing rooms, rentals and a snack bar. Just get bus tokens or a taxi and go. It will be worth the trip.
