Tenders to shore in Belize

I have been to Belize a couple of times and the transfer from ship to shore has been a rough ride both times. Has anyone been there when it was not real choppy?

We were just there last Tuesday? (The days got lost.) It wasn't that bad of a ride. It was an overcast day and it was drizzling. One girl we were with, got alittle green and had to get off quickly to get some air but everyone else was fine. It was about a 10 min ride. The comedian joked that it should of been a clue that Belize is dangerous, they park the boat 15 miles away from the shore. :D

I dont know that the seas are all that rough; it is just that they speed over the seas so fast, it seems like a thrill ride at an amusement park!!!!

We didnt have rough seas at all when we tendered in Belize but the tender boats are smaller and go pretty fast, which made it feel like a fast bumpy ride.
