What have you won in the casino's

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are about to go on the Rhapsody of the Seas Aug 13. I was just wondering who all has won in the casino and on what machines?! It seems that the first night is always the best night? I just want to know if its even worth playing my money on!

My DH and I ALWAYS lose during regular play in the casino-he plays blackjack and I play slots BUT he has taken 2nd place in the blackjack tournament and I have tied for 1st in the slot tournament. Relatives tell me they usually get lucky on the poker slots.

Good luck!

A few years ago, I won $1400 on a slot (sorry, can't quite remember which one it was - maybe Double Diamonds) on Adventure. This was on the next-to-last night of the cruise. Other than this, the slots onboard are usually very stingy!

I won $1000 on the Wheel of Fortune machine ($1 slots) on the Serenade in May. I allow myself $20 a night to play the nickel slots (love Little Green Men!), but one night I decided to spend my $20 on the $1 machine for a change. I couldn't believe it when I won $500 on my twenty bucks. Went back to the same machine a few nights later and won $500 again!

Guess which machine I am going to play next week on the Adventure! I'm rarely that lucky, so I may be back on the nickel machines the second night, ha ha.

Oh - I love the slot tournaments, but never got past the first round so far.

Won 500 quarters on 25c machine... I never play on the ship and never play this game, only poker which at least has some logic , but had nothing to do while my DH was playing Black Jack (I am too nervous to watch this!!!) So I took $5 in quarters and on the last play won 500 quarters. DH won only $80, so I ended up winning more.;) That was on Caribbean Princess though.

On the Serenade of the Seas (April 2006) I won $2,537 after spending about $60.00. The fourth night I won $750 and then $250 after putting in about $30. I brought home $3200. I played the quarter slots.

On the Voyager (Oct 2001) I played $10.00 before winning $1954.

And on the Grandeur I Brought home $2100. Again on the quarter slots.

Of course I am looking forward to the same on the Liberty next year

we put like 1350 in the wheel of fortune machine $1 slot- walked away with like 1250 - so lost about 100 - wanted to see if playing same machine continuous was better than jumping around from one machine to another- stilll don't know the answer to this but will try another philosophy on next cruise- we won 2500 quarters on a 50 cent machine- that was fun!

We actually have been pretty lucky on the cruises. First Navigator cruise, I won 550 playing Blackjack. Then on the second Navigator cruise my DW hit 1500 bux on one of the machines and we both won 350 bux playing Craps. Then on the last cruise on the Serenade, I won the Blackjack Tourny and won 400 bux and a trophy. Sure we lost too, dont get me wrong, but we are still ahead.
