Rare Mrs_Tiki Posted July 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Does anyone know which beach is pictured on the inside front cover of RSSC's current Bermuda/New England brochure? Beautiful pink sand and gigantic rock formations forming a lagoon that reminded me of The Baths in British Virgin Islands. Please tell me the name so that we can be sure to go there!! Monthend Posted July 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2004 I haven't seen the picture but I'm guessing it's horseshoe bay. We just came back from Bermuda and it was the best beach by far. Clean changing rooms and bathrooms. Chair and umbrella rentals. You can walk down the beach between giant rock formations and find a quiet cove away from the crowd. It is heaven. St. Catherine's in St. George was noisy and not quite clean.
brokerblac Posted July 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2004 It might be Jobson's Cove... an incredible spot...MUCH nicer than Horseshoe Bay. Not as crowded.
Former Goalie Posted July 8, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2004 That's what I'm guessing - we just returned from Bermuda, we visited Horseshoe Bay, and loved it. Perhaps the most beautiful beach I've ever been to. Just the right amount of very nice people there.
Dolphins Posted July 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2004 I believe the photo is Jobson's Cove. Been there a few times. If the winds are strong from the south and you are looking for a calm beach, try Shelly Bay on the north shore. A short bus ride from either Hamilton or St. George.
