Miam - Everglades Safari

DH and I are on the Grandeur next month. Our port time in Miami was originally 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. We signed up to do the Everglades air boat excursion that was to begin around 1:30 (it's a four-hour excursion).

Our port time just changed to 4:00 to 10:00 p.m., changing our excursion to 4:30 p.m.

Are we going to be touring the Everglades in the dark? Does having this excuresion at this time of day (in late September) make as little sense as I think it does?
