time difference

I think it depends on the time of year you are there. Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel were all one hour behind Miami when I visited them last week; so, 9:30am in Miami would be 8:30am in Grand Cayman. All three ports were on the same time as our ship, the Conquest out of New Orleans.

The Cayman Islands does not observe Daylight Savings time. So when Miami (Eastern Standard Time) moves forward for Daylight Savings, the Cayman Islands which is normally on EST is the same as Central Time.

I guess from your user name that your cruise is on 26 September 2004, so that week Miami time is one hour ahead. If it is 8.00am in Miami it is 7.00am in the Cayman Islands.
