MARINER OF THE SEAS CC GROUP-JAN. 13, 2008!! Rate Wait is Over!

Recommended Posts

If you've been waiting for info on this CC Group on the Mariner, your wait is over!! Some fellow North Carolinians who were with us in Sept 04 on the Mariner are ready to go again:D (and can I say it's about dang time.....) so I figured why not just invite all of you to come along!!

We'll be headin' West on January 13 '08 from Port Canaveral to Royal Caribbean's Labadee beach break, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel for some sun, snorkeling, shopping and a little bit of wastin' away at Margaritaville or Senor Frogs (after snorkeling of course!). So c'mon and "chill out" with us in the Caribbean instead of just bein' plain chilly (or for some of you... FREEZING) at home...

BTW we get back on Jan. 20... Monday the 21st is MLK Day so lots of folks have that as a holiday anyway -- you can commemorate the day or just to unpack and regroup before heading back to the grind on Tuesday! :)

Rates and Amenities are as follows:

Inside (Cat Q): $ 693.81 pp

Oceanview (Cat I): $ 893.81 pp

Balcony (Cat E2): $ 1043.81 pp [Double Occupancy ONLY]

Balcony (Cat D1): $ 1163.81 pp [Triples and Quads available]

Junior Suite (Cat JS): $ 1443.81 pp

Rates are based on double occupancy and include the port charges and gov't fees.

Single (Cat Q): $ 1183.81 pp

3rd/4th passenger rates are subject to change...the current rate is as follows: $ 543.81 pp.

Amenities:

Specialty Restaurant Experience (Dinner for 2 at Portofino or Chops Grille and a Casino Voucher-Call for details)

A valuable casino Voucher (Call for details)

1 bottle of champagne per cabin

1 fruit basket per cabin

Cruise Critic lanyards and discount on logowear

The full $ 250 pp deposit will be due at time of booking for all bookings regardless of single, double, triple or quad occupancy. The final

payment will be due approximately on or before 10/10/07.

***********

For those of you that have cruised with Royal Caribbean before and are "Platinum" status or higher, you can still take advantage of the rate reduction on balcony and jr suite/suites if you book into the group.

If there is a coupon for this sailing in C&A e-mail/magazine you can call Neal and ask him to submit it but we're not sure how they will treat them.. there seems to be some inconsistency with the "booking during a specific time" issue. Also, if you do the future cruise booking while you are on a Royal Caribbean ship you can transfer that booking into the group and get the group rates/perks BUT you will lose the onboard credit that you would normally get when you transfer the booking into a group.

We're planning to sail on the Mariner February 24, 2008.....

We're going to book when we're on the Jewel in October.

I don't think we will go that late because the prices really go up in mid-late February..Would ya go earlier with us????. :D You know you will be ready for a break from that Minnesota weather by January.... right???

Looks like we have a good NC group going here.. this cruise is an easy "gas friendly" drive from the southeast!!!

We were on Mariner two years ago and had a great time.. cruise staff was really great and there was soo much to do .. this is a western itinerary so lots of beaches:) :)

Jan. 13 sailing is western Caribbean and I believe that is the one will be asking for rates on..

When did Mariner change to go to SanJuan instead of Nassau? Just noticed that... that alone would have made me think of going East... but 13th works as lots of people are off the 21st (MLK Day) and will give a day to "decompress" right????

I know!!! This would be so much fun.. AND for those of you who do hate snow I can promise you.. since I LOVE it -- if ya don't go with me on this cruise you will get snowed in that week in NC/SC/Va... because this gorgeous 8" of snow will fall while I'm gone on this cruise....:D

Just checking to see how the cruise was progressing. I am really looking forward to possibly take this cruise - I was scheduled to go on one with the Reali Tinis in 10/2005 but had to cancel at the last minute for a family wedding. We would probably drive to Pt Canaveral since we have an RV and there is a park in the area where we can leave te rig and shuttle to the dock.Bill
