Anyone have any ideas?? thanks Are you needing "dressy sandals" or "sandals for a dress, like a sundress" If the later is the case, you might like some of the real cute ones that Crocs has out now in every color AND very comfy for foot problems. If you need dressy sandals, can't help you, but now is the time of year to find some great bargains in summer shoes. gg

KLLund Posted August 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2006 Dansko's have a few nice sandals and are fabulous for you feet, but you might find some cuter things at Newport-news.. I have had great luck with their shoes in general in the past. Also at Newport News .. check the mules they have some nice beaded mules with no or very short heels. Some metalics and rhinestoned things in the casual sandal collection Goodluck
booboo4031 Posted August 9, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I should have said the sandals must have a backstrap per doctors orders:mad:

Doug&Suzy-Q Posted August 9, 2006 #10 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I have the same probelm..in fact I am having another surgery Friday.. And sailing Sept 16:eek: Hope this works out...either way, I'm going. Might be on crutches, but I'm going. Believe it or not I found my black dress sandals at Wal Mart. I know it was just pure luck, but they are perfect. Flat, adjustable strap in back, stap across the toes. Staps are about 3/4" wide. Look very nice. Since then I found the same thing at Belk. They are not the sparkly slinky kind that are so popular now. But unfortunately, I cannot wear these. What was funny, when I was at Wal Mart there were two other ladies there, we got to talking, they too were buying sandals for a cruise...:) You will find something you like when you least expect it:eek:
booboo4031 Posted August 9, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted August 9, 2006 The ones I would have bought on Zappos of course they didn't have my size. I just found a pair at sierra trading post and even on sale! :D http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/362,74973_VANELI-BLANCA-SANDALS-For-Women.html Thanks for all your help! jp2001 Posted August 9, 2006 #12 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I like them. OK for formal nights and you can even wear them for casual or semi-formal nights since they are not ''too'' formal.
MrsMoose2001 Posted August 9, 2006 #13 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hi, two websites that might help you and don't let the name on one deter you they very often have other sandels besides "flip flops". www.flipfloptrunkshow.com www.frenchsole.com the second is flat ballet style shoes but they very often have "dressy" ones in gold, silver etc etc. Hope this helps. MrsMoose2001 Posted August 9, 2006 #15 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I'm not sure, I never ordered from them. I ordered from the other one and they did ship to Canada - very good service the one time I ordered. I know the other one you have to be careful about sizing they said at one time so I never ordered - sorry
