Has anyone purchased either the pewter fruit bowl with fruit or the celebrity tote bag that has the crackers,cookies and candies? Leaving on Saturday and was thinking of purchasing them for embarkment day. Are they worth the money? Thanks for any reply's.:)

Definitely not worth the money. You'll get enough food (including fruit) that "snacks" won't even enter your mind. The welcome aboard buffet lunch will keep you going!

Although the x is a little tacky to be at the bottom, it comes in handy as an extra serving piece areound the house. In the winter we fill it potpouri and place it in our guest room ...It does make a nice little accent.

Got one last September. The fruit was so-so, but the bowl is sturdy and nice. We use ours when entertaining small gatherings. Holds snacks and cleans up nicely.

I love Celebrity but my vote is not worth it. Have a wonderful trip and if you do order - enjoy!

A friend had the pewter bowl of fruit delivered to my cabin as a thank you since I arranged for a group of us to go. Although the fruit wasn't really necessary since you can get it from room service, the thought was nice. The bowl is nice if you don't mind the X in the bottom. I don't think I have ever used it again.
