  1. @GloriaF18005450008. I saved over $300 and they were super helpful.
  2. @startedwithamouse I just think it’s sad that someone, who was TRYING to be helpful, has been met by so much repeated hostility. We get that you are unhappy with this post so, why not remove the stress by ignoring the thread.
  3. Isn’t “misinformation” the norm in the U.S.? 😂😂
  4. Sober Twist; Sunshine Daiquiri sounds wonderful! I tried the Strawberries on Fire but it was 💥and undrinkable!
  5. It’s been many years now but we TRIED to take a public bus to the beach but we didn’t speak French, driver only spoke French, paid our fare and got kicked off the bus a short distance later. Walked back to the ship! 😂😱😳
  6. @poffles I had no idea so thanks for educating me. Hope you find something suitable and affordable.
  7. We always travel with the thought in mind it might be our only time there and I can’t think of anything more disappointing than returning home saying “I wish we had…..”. We’d rather wait a little longer, save a little more, and see all our must see places.
  8. We found it very strange that they served clotted cream with the buffet afternoon tea but not in the MDR.
  9. We got COVID after our 2 last cruises. Fortunately we are fully vaccinated and the symptoms, like yours, were mild. We wore masks, washed our hands whenever we returned to the cabin, didn't go to ANY shows and we still ended up with COVID. 😢
  10. We always stayed away from mini-suites out of fear of the bathtub since I have two knee replacements. Absolutely LOVED it; no issues.
  11. Thanks for that. WestJet was the only option I saw.
  12. We have always booked our own airfare; A/C and Air Transat, and usually book well in advance. The secret to peace of mind is NOT to check after booking. 😂 This time we’re using Princess EZair since we’re flying March 19th (one day early) and the weather could be iffy. They’re using WestJet and the price is $318.74 each return which is better than any A/C offer.
  13. When I first checked prices for YYZ to FLL for March 19th it was $1300! Next time I checked it was $900. This time $750.
  14. If you have a cruise coming up over the winter/spring, worth checking out the latest sale.
  15. ALL cabins have hair dryers. My hair is short and I find it more than satisfactory.
  16. Just an FYI; the Telus deal is NOT permanent. I got the offer about 4 months prior to our trip but it had expired before the trip. It's an intermittent offer so keep Airlo in mind. I have had success with Airlo on shore but you can't use it on board ship.
  17. My husband is a lover of seafood but on our two cruises out of Southampton he ordered beef which was always great. We loved the food and menu choices. The menu on Enchanted out of Athens didn’t appeal as much. After reading the Caribbean choices from a recent @Itchy&Scratchy review I’m not expecting the same great experience. Definitely NOT a fan of beans! That being said I’m sure we won’t starve. 😂
  18. Just curious, how many times have you eaten the same thing at home only 3 times in over a year? How many times have you had multiple choices at home for a meal? The answer for us would be: too many to count and never. 😱
  19. We use CAA but....the newest location in Shops at Don Mills has their photo lighting installed in the wrong location resulting in so much SHINE on your face that they even admitted some of the photos have been rejected. They give you lots of face powder sheets but we were still apprehensive. Went to a different location and, after showing them the photos, they redid them n/c.
  20. We pack the soda in our wheeled carry on and take an empty large size bag for the items displaced for the soda. Works out well.
  21. I hate the fact that when you renew early you lose a LOT of remaining time. We renew 6 months prior to expiry so that's six months wasted. They should be like NEXUS and give you the full period.
  22. @milolii We stayed overnight at Premier Inn in Southampton and found a Poundland close by. Their prices for canned soda was excellent and they even allowed us to use the wheeled buggy to take our 24 cans across the road to the hotel! As per Princess policy; you MUST carry them onboard, can't go in checked luggage which is what the porters handle.
  23. We renewed early to avoid the price increase. Was pleased to see the expiry date remained our birthdays which is NOT the case if you renew your passport early. Since we usually renew our passports 6 months in advance you lose a lot of time.
  24. I do not but that is a GREAT deal. Last year they were offering this with a $200. cap.
