Now this is funny, in that I was thinking of the same thing.:D I do not remember in the past that there were 8 stickies before. That is quite a bit. Maybe they will shut some of down soon, although some are very important such as the latest terriorist sticky.

I realize this probably sounds stupid, but just yesterday I was noticing all the "stickies" and I don't even know what a sticky means! What is it? Hot topics?

Sicky is just a post that stays 'on top of the list'.... as posts age... and dont have activity, they will eventually move to page 2,3, etc.

 

Sticky posts dont move. They stay on page 1.

The term "sticky" is derived from the adhesive post-it notes that you leave around as reminders.

Here they are important topics that remain at the top of the board so as not to disappear.

There are 2 stickes they could remove and let be regular thread. The one, I'm on the Century now, I'm sure they're off by now. And the Zenith one, they are getting off the ship tomorrow.
