cpayne Posted August 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Anyone know where I can find a cheap internet cafe within walking distance of the ship? Cost?
gem1017 Posted August 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2006 When I was there in July, we went on the Capt. Bryan's stingray excursion. Right in front of his office is a bakery that has free internet service. My 2 girls took atvantage if that! It is just a few blocks from the tender area. cpayne Posted August 14, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 14, 2006 Free? Too good to be true! Since it was free did you have to have your own laptop and they just provided wireless access or did they actually have computers for you to use? Thanks. gem1017 Posted August 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2006 They had two computers that were set up at a bar. It is a small place, not very many tables but they did have yummy pastries! I think it is called The English Bakery. It is a yellow building with a red roof.
fireboat Posted August 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 14, 2006 I believe I found a web site that listed internet cafe by ports. I don't think I saved the link. But I found it with a google search. It's an additional resource.
KenP Posted April 1, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2007 In Mar 2007 I used the "Caribbean Pirate" located at 19 Fort Street, 2nd Floor, across the street from Senor Frogs. Fort street is near the water near the Old Fort George Ruins, near the Roy Watler Dock. It's a gift shop but they also sell internet access. $3 for 1/2 hour, $5 per hour. Fast broadband. About 6 computers in back of store. Worked well.
