Cookiebun Posted August 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2006 I am leaving in 2 days for the my first cruise. I am on the Majesty in Cabin 962. Can anyone please tell me if there is an iron I will be able to use. also, is there laundry facilities? Thanks.
johnql Posted August 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Sorry, you will have neither at your disposal. Irons are considered a fire hazard on a cruise ship and the Majesty does not have a self-service laundry room. You may, however, make use of the ship's laundry service and/or pressing service. You can also take along Downey Wrinkle Release and/or a steamer.
Welove2cruise2 Posted August 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Irons are not allowed on the ship. If it's absolutely necessary, you can get pressing service -- not cheap, though I don't recall the price, but if you must have something pressed... There are no laundry facilities on the Majesty, but they do have a special mid-week -- all you can fit in the bag for $19.99 -- but you won't get this back until Friday night/Saturday. We didn't think it was all that expensive to do laundry that we absolutely needed. Enjoy the Majesty and Bermuda! She's a GREAT ship, wonderful crew, and Bermuda is Bermudaful!!:D Any questions, feel free to ask! HOLY Cow John! You're quick!!
