Has anyone stayed at this hotel? They told me they are across the street from the cruise terminal. Is it walking distance or do we need to use their van service?

"They" lied. There are no hotels across from any of the Port Everglades terminals. It is not within walking distance. You will need transportation to the port.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too worried about the transportation to the pier as they will provide shuttle service. I wonder if I will be able to see the ship docked at the pier from this hotel?:cool: :)

If you have a tower room overlooking the south side of the building you can see the ships very clearly. Those rooms are very popular and book up fast. I stayed at this hotel when it was owned by Marriott and love the location. I am staying there again in December for a two night pre-cruise stay.

Ten minutes, metered cab should run $15-$18.
