Galveston-nice hotel with shuttle to the Pier?

My husband and I are sailing out of Galveston Next May. We were wondering if anyone knew of a nice hotel to stay at that offers a shuttle to the Pier.

there they have info on hotels that offer free shuttle/free parking.

I have stayed at about 6 different ones .

from what i hear on the boards the harbor house at the pier, is a great hotel, right next to the port, and walking distance to the ship.

 

i went on travelocity and was able to find it cheaper than when i called them directly.

 

we're going in march.

If you don't mind pulling your luggage a couple blocks, the Harbour House is in a great location. It took us all of five minutes to get to the pier.

We used the Harbor House a little pricey but we could watch the ship come in.They dont have a shuttle and you have to pay to park.We drove everyone over to the pier and then drove the car back and walked back.We had far too much luggage to roll it over.

We stayed at several different places. some with free shuttles some no shuttles. The cab over is not too much since it is an island its not too far.

It has some hotels close to the pier but not all of them.

You can look up other ports as well and then click on the areas that show a hotel and get info.
