Dining Question - Table for 2?

Is it possible to get a table for 2 in the dining room on Explorer? What about Portofino's?

Hello- My husband and I have requested a table for 2 on several sailings. I do not know why Explorer would be any different. When you make a reservation for Portfino's or Chops, they ask the number in your party. If it is 2-you have a table for 2. :D

There are quite a few tables for two, but request them ahead of time. I went to see the Maitre'd on the day of boarding for a dining request and he had a page and a half of new dining requests--about half of those were for tables for two and those people were put on wait lists for small tables.

Portafino's yes. The table for 6 on our cruise was a memorable part of the trip.
