sandm Posted August 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2006 We are scheduled on a Mediterranian-Malta cruise July 2007. Will we need visas? We are all US citizens, have passports and sailing on VOS from Barcelona.
corkpopr Posted August 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2006 you do not need a visa for a med cruise unless you go to turkey
CruisinGerman Posted August 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2006 The only countries that require Visas in the Med are Turkey (for overnight and longer stays) and Libya (a book could be written about this one--let's not go here). If next year's Voyager itinerary is the same as this year, you will be visiting only European Union ports of call and U.S. citizens will not need special Visas, just their passports. Kind regards, Gunther and Uta

sandm Posted August 16, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Thank you for all the help. I have read nightmare stories of being detained and sent home without completing a cruise. Thanks again.
