Upgrade?

We are going on the Fantasy in October, and were originally in a OV room on the Riviera Deck. Just got the news that we are now in an OV room on the Upper Deck. The prices dropped, so this is what they gave us...is it that much of an upgrade? Never cruised, so I don't know what the difference would be...

Many folks like being on the Riveria Deck for less motion. Nothing wrong with being on any deck. Some just like to be on higher decks and closer to the activities on board, so they consider that an upgrade.:)

Yes it's an upgrade. The rate you paid is lower than a cabin assingment for a 6A, and you got a 6C, and had you paid for that outright you would have paid much more.

Lucky you! We still haven't found out where our room is going to be. I hope we'll be assigned one soon. Hoping even more that it will be a big upgrade but if it's not at least we'll be cruising.
