Theme Nights?

and while there were themed dinners (italian, Thai, etc), there was nothing said about dressing up to a theme. Saw many Hawaiian shirts on resort casual night, along with lots of Asian dress most nights. I think you are okay for Hawaiian shirts (heck, I wore a mu-mu one night) on just about any night except formal nights in the regular dining room. Can't help you with the alternative restaurants though as we never went to one on this trip.

On our 2 trips on the Coral they had a 50's Sock Hop. I was surprised at how many people had brought poodle skirts, oxfords, etc. There were prizes for the best dressed. They also had a western night but not too many dressed for that one. Both of these events were held at 9pm in one of the lounges. They also had a "Beach Party". People wore tropical wear and everyone was furnished with a plastic lei. That was held up on deck.
