Rare FlyerTalker Posted August 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2006 Maybe there is a time warp and we are pre-1959. Or more accurately pre-1898. Now if you're referring to CONUS...... PS: Be sure to get a good exchange rate on your money - don't change it at the airport. :D
newlywedcruisers Posted August 18, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2006 Hmm... I actually think this should have stayed in the NCL board, but anyways as for your time of departure/arrival back in the states, that is up to NCL. You should actually find out a specific time a few months before you leave for your cruise (a few meaning two meaning October). Have fun visiting the islands! Do you have time that Saturday for Honolulu???? Thanks Patty YOU ARE IN THE STATES in HNL. You are returning to the CONTINENTAL US. You could be on ANY flight, with ANY connections (although most will be through LAX or SFO). As a general rule, cruise air out of Honolulu will be on the red eye (after 6:OOPM to the West Coast) then connecting flights out of there. You will probably have time for a short tour of Honolulu. If you want to see the Arizona Memorial, you will have to get off the ship as early as possible and bust b*** over there. Tickets are often gone by 11:00AM. If you only want to wander around Wakiki, easily done, except you have to figure out what to do with your luggage. It may be better to book a ship's tour, so you can actually see something and NOT have to deal with luggage. Do some research to see what is available from the ship tours and also independently.
