Parade 1st night on Freedom

Does anyone know appox. what time the parade takes place the first night? We have to take a red-eye in because it is Superbowl Sunday and I can't get a hotel. I don't want my kids (or myself) to go to bed early and miss the parade!

It's somewhere around 11pm. It may start at 1045 or 1115, I forget which. It's always good to arrive at least 15 min early to get a good view. The 2nd parade is at 530pm.

The first parade is late at night after 11:00 PM. You should try to find a spot midway between the bridges to get a good viewing, 20 minutes early. A lot of passengers are tired, just like you will be, and missed the parade. Take a nap beforehand, the parade is great.

 

The 2nd parade is a family circus parade held at 5:30 and was packed. Get there 30 minutes early.
