Independent Tour To Kenai Fjords

I've been on both the Zaandam and the Volendam, and there's not much physical difference between them. One thing I have noticed is that the whole tenor of a ship can change depending on the captain. I've been on the same ship with one captain and the whole ship is happy and friendly and with another captain and everyone is grumpy. When I talked to the crew, it was apparent that they were unhappy with that particular regime.

I also don't understand being willing to cruise on the Volendam but not on the Zaandam, especially since the Zaandam is the younger sibling. Maybe GMoney hates the gaudy organ in the atrium of the Zaandam! :)

OK, I went back and reviewed the options. I got my dam ships confused! I could live with Zaandam, but I do not like the shorter cruisetours. Even on the 13 nighter, you only get 3 days at sea, and that's a deal breaker. I will check out John Hall Tours though and see if I can make that work somehow!
