missnic Posted August 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2006 I have a midship OV cabin booked on the Empress deck, and saw today that an aft cabin is open (E244 to be exact). How do these two cabins compare, in terms of the view? I've heard that aft cabins are in demand - what's so great about them? Thanks!
serene56 Posted August 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2006 the aft cabins that you are seeing in demand are the balcony cabins. On this class ship yopu ar better off staying where you are. Sure the views are impressive--off a balcony-- but how much time do you think you will spend looking out the window. Aft cabins will feel a lot of shuddering/vibration on this class ship. reesa Posted August 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2006 Serene I have the owner's suite at the very back of the Caribbean Princess? It is our first cruise. Is this a good room. We are literally facing the wake.

We are literally facing the wake. you cant compare Caribbean Princess with the much smaller elation. I have the cat BB on the CB - although its a view from the Carnival cruise the view will be the same on the CB-- http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/1283585957062547426lnziFZ what deck is the owners suite on?
