? For Bequia: Yankee Trader/Clipper?????

As the resident FLL expert, I would value your opinion on these two hotels. I know that you haven't been a big fan of either of them from past posts, but would you mind offering your current take on which might be the best value overall?

Reason: we're cruising this fall and wish to use Starwood points and both seem to offer good locations.

Rob, Are you cruising after December 15th? If so, I'd put your Starwood Points towards a stay at the brand new St Regis. ;)

My second choice for using Starwood points if possible would be at The Atlantic.

we stayed at the Westin last January and it was, by far, the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. Comparing the Yankee Clipper to the Westin would be like comparing a Red Roof to the Waldorf Astoria or a Chevette to a Lamborghini.

 

If I had points and could somehow stay at the Westin before our next cruise, I absolutely would.

For $35 a night, sure, if it's just for one night. Any longer I'd pass.
