Need Help regarding rooms on Island Princess

We are trying to decide between a room with balcony on the caribe deck and one on the emerald deck. the one on caribe is amidship and the one on emerald is above the "universal lounge". does it get noisy above the lounge . we also heard there were privacy issues regarding the balcony on the caribe.

I can't tell you about a cabin above the Universal Lounge but...

In 2004, we were in cabin C427 (bumpout section - midship) and loved it ! Next year, we will be in cabin C309 (last cabin in the bumpout section - forward).

If you want more info about the cabins on the Coral (and sister ship Island) Princess, just go to: http://mysite.verizon.net/res76zxu/princessbalconies/. You should find all the answers you need !

Hope this help !

Be careful about rooms over the Universal Lounge. There was discussion about Grand Class ships and the Emerald deck cabins proximity over Club Fusion which is set up pretty much the same. They were very noisy especially on the side that was over the stage area? Cant exactly remember. This design on Island Princess is similar. I would take the Caribe deck cabin if you are unsure. :)

Here's a picture looking down from Aloha deck from a point midway between the midship and forward bumpout sections. Worth 1000?
