? about Elation out of Port Canaveral

My family will be sailing on the Elation's first cruise out of Port Canaveral on Oct 23. We were wondering if the crew will be changing during the day between the end of the cruise in Miami and embarkation in Pt Canaveral. I know the crew signs on for either 6-8 months at a time. But, I didn't know if they would be more likely to do more changes at a time like this.

Also - Will we be able to board any earlier since there are no people disembarking that morning? Don't flame me - just trying to start our wonderful 5 days even earlier:o .

Crew changes happen every week, they stagger them as much as possible, just good business, that way you don't have massive turn over at one time.

Not sure how early, but I doubt they will let anyone on too early even though they are not disembarking anyone, you will just have to go and wait, I don't think anyone but Carnival can say for sure.
