SandRaven Posted August 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Hi! I'm looking for a great beack on St Kitts. Ideally, one with great snorkeling, umbrellas & chairs, and at least one beach bar. Looks like Turtle Beach, Friars Bay South, and Frigate Bay South could be "the one"... We only have a few hours in port (noon to 6pm). Which one should I hit? Thanks for any and all advice! ugogirl Posted August 29, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2006 How long of a drive is it from the port to this beach? Do you need to pre-arrange for pickup by a taxi or do some hang out there? Are there beach chairs and shade? You don't hear much about this beach on the boards but it sounds great. Is Lion's Den open everyday? Where is the good snorkeling off this beach? Thanks Liz for your help
sunshine3360 Posted August 31, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2006 We're going to Whitehouse Bay. The snorkeling is suppose to be great. We'll take a cab down. Still trying to find more imformation. I think we will then go back to Frigate Bay or Turtle Beach depending on how long we snorkel.
cruiseapril Posted November 10, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 10, 2006 Is the water calm at Turtle Beach? Is it good for swimming for an hour or so?
