Question re: GTY

:confused: Our cruise departs this Sunday, Sept. 3rd. and our on-line registration (completed several weeks ago) doesn't show a cabin number yet. (It still indicates GTY and we paid for a GTY Inside). Has anyone else had this situation? When did you get a cabin assignment? Was there a problem getting luggage? (Our tags say "GTY") Did you get a nice cabin or one of the cheaper categories? Please advise. Thanks!

Boarded the Sun in 2004 and never got a cabin number until we got to the pier. The will have a manifest with your cabin and will put the cabin number on your tags. FYI I booked a BE GTY and ended up in a BB.

You will not get a lower cat. then you booked the Gty. IE if you booked a BA you will not get any lower then a BA.

I was in a similar situation to you for our Sept. 10 Spirit cruise. On the NCL site, I did the same as you... I kept getting "GTY" for my room number until today, when my cabin no. appeared instead.

Just checked my on-line registration and find that we now have a room assignment. Thanks for all replies.
