Baja cruise in November

Recommended Posts

Nov weather will probably be in the 70's or 80's. If the santa ana winds blow it can get warm. But the Pacific ocean keeps the coastal areas cool. This is not a caribbean tropical cruise. Plan on light clothing with layers if necessary. We SoCal people don't have 'winter' wardrobes. You may need both long pants and shorts. Ensenada should have good weather in Nov.

We've done the Monarch twice in November and found the temperatures to be in the low 80s each time. The Monarch does a good job on the 4-day itinerary. Even though the days are shorter in November the Monarch's entertainment more than makes up for the fewer daylight hours.

Have a great cruise!

We have done the Monarch cruise in November several times. I would say the weather can be really good, or it can be really bad. We've enjoyed our cruise both times.

You shouldn't worry about the weather in LA. You're only boarding there. As you go further south, the possibility for rain is greater in November. The temps will be anywhere from 50 to 80 degrees. Yup, it is a big range, since we occasionally get Santa Ana conditions which heat up the West Coast areas from the desert winds. Ensenada is usually warm to hot. Again, the temps can vary significantly. We'll be onboard again this November 24! :D
