universal memory card readers?

We have a couple of different makes/models of digital cameras and even though the memory card "slot" on our computer says "SD/MMC/SM/MS/MS-PRO" we can't use it for all our cards. :confused: Is there a nice - reasonably-priced, hopefully inexpensive - universal card reader we can use for all digital flash cards?

There are literally hundreds ... a lot under $30. I tried a few but always had trouble with one type of card or another. Now I've condensed to just CF and SD and use the cameras to transfer.

 

That said ... http://techbargains.pricegrabber.com/search_attrib.php/page_id=44 has a bunch listed with reviews on some of them. There's a sandisk 12-in-1 with a 5 star review for $25-$30 (plus shipping) and a 15-in-1 with no review, but for $15 it's hard to go wrong. That site also has unbiased consumer reviews of the merchants listed, so look for a high rated merchant as well as for a good price.

If you go to www.bhphoto.com and type in card reader you will find multiple choices but pick one that can read multiple cards like the other post said. 12in1 card readers will cover all your cards. Sandisk and Lexar are probably the best choices thats what we use at the paper for downloading our photos after a day worth of assignments.

Go to costco.com do a search on wolverine. I got the 60 gig and it reads all cards. No need to ever take a laptop again.
