How long a drive (and transportation cost too) in Miami

How long of a drive is it from Miami airport to Southbeach and then from Southbeach to the port? How much usually does transportation cost? I'm getting quotes for around $80-$85 for those two routes.

That seems really high. I know from the airport to the port is around 25$. I think from our hotel to southbeach was around 10 or 15$. We stay near the port and from the hotel to port was 10$. Never did your exact route. My suggestion would be to call your hotel and ask them the taxi costs. They will know better.

Dear KPG, My husband and I rented a car from thrifty at the airport for $34 and drove to south beach. It took us maybe 40 min.,while taking pictures and site seeing. I hope that helps.
