I am looking for input on Rose Beach. Anyone been there and if so, how did you like it. What kind of facilities are there? How do I get there from the ship? Any shore snorkeling there? Any and all input is appreciated.

Rose Island is located about 15 miles Northeast of Paradise island and is a private island. You can only get there by tours (which have to pay for permits as well as per head).

There's a rustic bathroom and outdoor showers. (cistern water, not for drinking). There's plenty of good snorkeling .

It's a beautiful, very rustic island with not alot of amenities.. Personally, I prefer this to the built up commerical islands like Coco cay and Blue lagoon.

There's a tiny gift counter, and a guy that will make you a drink. (I wouldn't call it a bar).. This area is slated to be taken over by the Ritz Hotel Chain in another year of so... so get there if you can.. it's truly paradise.

Tours that include Rose island are:

Sea Island Adventure

Robinson Crusoe

Barefoot Cruise - Swim off the boat

Flying Cloud - Swim off the boat.
