MelBCroozer Posted September 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2006 We were on the Riviera deck on the Glory last summer. We were a little more to the center of the ship, but our friends were up in the front. They felt the motion more, especially during rough seas, but it wasn't terrible. The Ocean View cabins are very nice. They are a bit bigger than the balcony cabin. You just have to decide how much time you think you will spend on your balcony. Our daughters enjoyed the big window more than the balcony. They liked to sit on the windowsill and look out. Either way, I think you'll have a great time. tankersbabe Posted September 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2006 I love the Riviera deck...nice and quiet...little motion. We have an inside on this trip, and its midship...perfect for me!
HMK Posted September 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2006 We just returned from being on the Glory 8/26 sailing. We had a balcony for the first time. Our cabin was next door to our friends cabin, and we had the steward open the partition between the balcony's. It was very nice and relaxing, we also had coffee sitting out on the balcony. We loved it!!! When we book our next cruise, we will definitely want a balcony room. We were on the Upper deck, which is in the middle of the ship.....as far as rocking, it was not bad at all.
