star65 Posted July 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2004 Hi, I am thinking I will not purchase the fountain cards for my kids because I really do not want them drinking tons of soda, and especially since it is free for them at dinner. What I am worried about though is if I do not get them the cards, and they get thirsty will they have access to the free drinks (iced tea/lemonade) while at camp carnival? Also, does anyone know if the iced tea is the "real" tea or powdered, my kids only drink powdered and it could change my fountain card decision. Thanks for your help! I 'can' tell you that Camp Carnival does NOT let the children have soda.. They do get to have something else, though... Iced tea on board tasted really good, but honestly do not think it was powdered.. Seemed more like a concentrate (originally).......which would only make sense, considering how much of it is needed on board every day..
ukcruisefan Posted July 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2004 Our kids usually get the soda cards but do not take them with them to camp carnival. We usually only get sodas at meal time and maybe a sprite by the pool in the afternoon. Camp carnival gave the juice or lemonade.
newbie2cruise Posted July 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2004 HI on the glory they provided lemonade, water and milk (white and chocolate to the kids while they were there. Always plenty to drink without soda.
serene56 Posted July 10, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 10, 2004 If you find the kids dont like the iced tea...mix it up with lemonade. Its really good.
star65 Posted July 11, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted July 11, 2004 Thanks for the replies, I am going to stick to my guns and not buy the soda card, since you have assured me they can and will get drinks in camp carnival. Thanks!
