Rare chrismch Posted September 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2006 We will be flying in to Miami the morning of our cruise (it's just an hour flight so I don't think I'm pushing it too much for time) and I was wondering how hard it is to get a shuttle from the airport to the ship. We didn't book the air through the cruiseline but on our own. Should we try to buy a transfer through the cruiseline or do it ourselves? Anyone know what the shuttle rates are from the airport to the cruiseport of Miami?:p
Bequia Posted September 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Can't help you on the cruiseline transfer rates but from what I understand it's cheaper for 2 to take a cab. Cab fare is $24 (for the ride, not per person)......;)
Sunrunner3 Posted September 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2006 We purchased the transfers for the return to the airport and it was $44 for 2! Much cheaper to take a taxi!!!

2Cruise4Ever Posted September 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Not to mention the fact that you have to wait for the transfer bus to fill up with cruisers before you leave the airport. If you and only a few other cruisers were on your particular flight, you may have to wait for another flight or two to come in before the bus leaves. The cab ride is only 15-20 minutes and you can leave the airport right away. We never use the cruise transfers because we want to get to the ship as quickly as possible so we can start celebrating!!
