TinaJ04463 Posted September 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Had our passport pics taken today, this week we will take the forms and pics to the P.O. and get them on their way! April 15 is so far away, but we are really excited. I'm hoping that the passports don't get bogged down with all the extra ones that will be needed after the first of the year. We also took advantage of the Walmart photo package and had our pics taken with some tropical backgrounds, it was a blast! TinaJ

LHP Posted September 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2006 Congrats on being "official". My sons are working on their second passports. (Children's expire every 5 years instead of 10 years for adults) Enjoy your cruise (and your new passport!)

JustCruisin' Posted September 10, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2006 We applied for 2 passports on July 26th and received it (without a rush charge) by August 27th :o They say it may take 6 weeks but I never heard of it actually taking that long.
