Does the Serenade do Southern Carib in the summer as well?
Rala Posted September 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2006 For the past couple of years or so, Serenade has been doing Alaska during June, July and August.
Cassandra Posted September 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2006 Serenade does the spring & fall/winter in the Caribbean. Summer is spent in Alaska, then to Hawaii, then through the Panama Canal to head back to the Caribbean. Same thing when she heads to Alaska. We got to the terminal about 11:30am, waited about 15 minutes to get checked in & was on the ship by noon. They don't leave until 10pm, so there's never a mad rush of people or long lines, etc.
golfer1966 Posted September 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2006 Boarding in SJ was quite easy. I think becuase most people are off the ship by 10 or so, I think they let people on around 11:30 or so. We got to the pier at 3 and there was no line at all. It was freaky how easy it was. I think becuase we dont sail until 10, most people come at various times and have no problems getting on.

golfer1966 Posted September 14, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2006 If my memory serves me correctly, it was 6, but it was a diferent time the first day due to the muster drill.
