Hair on Formal Night

I was thinking about having my hair done on the ship for formal night. No cuts or coloring just up and styled... has anyone done this can I bring my own things to put in my hair and does anyone have an idea on cost:rolleyes:

yes you can bring your own accessories to put in your hair... on a RCCL ship the cost for an updo is 50.00. they do a really great job.

I just called Princess today regarding the same thing!

They told me to make an appointment after I board the ship, and she couldn't give me a price because it depends on the style, length, etc.

 

I have long hair and sometimes I just don't know how to put it up in different ways...I always do it the same way for formal occasions... sometimes it turns out great, sometimes it doesn't. I'd love to get my hair done for this...it's been since our wedding day! that I've had it put up professionally.

I hadn't thought about accessories...what a great idea! Now I'll look for some pretty things to go in it. I can't wait!! How fun!

It's Formal Night on a cruise! It doesn't get any more special or memorable than that!??!!

I got my hair done on the Caribbean Princess for the first formal night (okay, it was also my wedding). I did not have an updo, but curls and a tiara and it cost me $75 + tip.

 

I thought it was pretty pricey, but it saved me the hassle of hating whatever I did to my hair, so overall worth it.

I went for the updo on formal night on a Celebrity cruise. It cost about 40.00 including tip. They really tried to upsell their own barrettes and hair thingies. Bring your own, they'll put them in for you.
