Guess we'll either drive in the day we have to embark or spend a night in Houston. Since we want to visit NASA Houston, I may consider spending the night post cruise. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

If you plan to visit NASA there are a lot of new or nearly-new motels in our area. Just look for addresses on Bay Area Blvd. or NASA Parkway/NASA Road #1 (there is a name change going on for that street) and you'll find everything from Motel 6 to the Nassay Bay Hilton on Clear Lake. We also have lots of great restaurants and the Kemah Boardwak on Galveston Bay is near-by. The drive to the port from this area is an easy 30-45 minutes.

Have you tried running the boat's registration number through the WEB? If it is commercially availble, you may get a hit through google. If it is privately owned then privacy issues would probably prevent you from getting the information. Just an idea.

We stayed at Harbor House weekend before last prior to our 10/1 cruise. I dropped off the other 3 and all the luggage and drove back to HH to park the car and then walked the .4 mile back to Rhapsody. No problem. No charge for the week, btw.
