Why can't tourists have cars?

Why can't tourists rent cars in Bermuda? I'm guessing b/c of the general congestion it would cause?

Actually, it is because of a lack of parking.

Come to Barbados instead.....We have lots of parking and lots of cars for rent.

:)

You've obviously posted on the wrong board. .. however.. There is actually a law restricting the number of cars that even the locals can have in Bermuda. 2 per household I believe it is. Mostly due to space..

If you have been in Barbados resently, 2 per household, might be a good thing here as well.
