***Live from the Pacific Princess***

Just got back from an excellent afternoon in Mahe, Seychelles....the island is beauifull and lush with vegetation and rain forests. We hired a driver from the pier for $20.00 an hour USD and took us up the peak, to Vallmont and Port Victoria and to the Beach and waited for us

Hi Tony,

When we called on last years cruise everything was closed

in the town and our day was pretty much like yours, except it rained all morning and cleared up in the afternoon. Our driver waited at the beach for us too.Just as well,it is a steep climb over that hill to the beach, although some from the ship did walk over,we passed them as they paused to catch their breath at the side of the road. The town of Victoria is quite delightful .I was very impressed with how clean and tidy everything was. They even have a Big Ben,looks great since it was restored.......

Probably not. I hate all that food in my gut so late at night, since we don't stay up 'til the wee hours and get up early to do the gym. Besides, Ro and Murray have to be considered too, and they don't like to eat late either. Spoke to Ro a few minutes ago and told her you might change. Can you hear/see her tears? :(

OH NO!...guilt is settling in already!

Tony, here is a link posted by another CC member - some lines are considering rating the players and providing comps, like free drinks and free cruises or discounts. http://www.cruise-casinos.com/

On another note, we all know you wear a tux on formal night, but what are you currently seeing on the PP? You mentioned fewer formal dressers on the Grand and your other PP cruise. Are you seeing the same on your current cruise?

On this longer cruise almost everyone is dressed up for Formal Night...I would say maybe less than 10% don't particpate and only go to the Buffet instead...

I haven't seen any shorts, or capri pants etc in the Dinning room on Formal Night as of yet. Tonight is our third Formal Night out of four so far....

Good Morning from the Rocky Pacific Princess....

The seas this morning are pretty rough and the ship is pitching and rolling a lot so much so it woke me up this morning just before my wake up call. The weather outside so far isn't the greatest, overcast skies and rain in the far distances that I can see.

There is only 2 other people in the Internet Cafe...slow day here as well!

I defenitely feel like I am haven't had enough sleep, so after breakfast I could be going back to bed.

I spoke to Javier last night after the "Office" and everything is fine back home and the dogs are doing great as well.

Another lazy sea day aboard the Pacific Princess as we have another sea day and then Mauritius the following day.

More to follow later this morning after breakfast on the Pacific Princess.

Wow what a difference a couple of hours makes!...I just woke up again after watching "You've Got Mail" and opened my curtains and the weather is clearing up but the seas are still pretty rough with some huge swells and white caps.Of course the internet cafe is packed as usual! I am thinking of not going to dinner tonight and instead do the Bistro for a change....why not!Tomorrow there is another Maitre'd wine tasting at 3:00pm.It is a little windy up on deck as we are travelling at 18 knots to get to Mauritius on time.More to follow later today from the Pacific Princess....Tony
