Anyone sailed on Splendor OTS lately?

We saw a cruise on Splendor of the Seas that is over a year away that we might like to take. We have been on many RCCL ships over the years but never this one. Is she aging gracefully? What is her condition and does anyone know when she was last refurbished or when she is next due to be? Thanks for any info.

I don't know when Splendour was last refurbished, but I cruised on her in April of last year and I thought she looked just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to cruise on her again.

Sailed on Splendour a few weeks ago and she is in good shape. Splendour had a bit of a refurbishment in May this year.

Good to hear! Has RCCL added any of the "updated" features like a rock wall or bungee jump to her as they have some of their other ships? (Not that it matters in this case. Just wondering.) Thanks for your replies. :)

My DH did the rock wall in 2005 on this ship, so that has been there for a while.

Yes a concierge Lounge was added, it is in the old card room on deck 7. The new beds were very comfy

 

Sorry no idea who the captain was, don't pay attention to trivia like that.

Sailed 27/8/06 - 3/9/06 cruise, Ship looked fine to me, had great cruise , didn't try rock wall though, maybe next time. Captain was Oerjan Raadmannsoey.
