Houston to Galveston transfers?

We will be on the Rhapsody in June for the 1st time. Has anyone used RCCL's hotel & transfer from Houston? What time do you leave the hotel on cruise day & what time does that get you to the ship? We like to arrive early so the kids can swim before the pool gets crowded. Thanks for your help.

Depends. As soon as you check into the hotel ask the front desk if there is a sign up list for the transfer bus/van. If so, get on the list. Normally the first transfers start loading about 10-10:30 at the earliest, because early check-in is about 11 am.
