is this a good room location on the Victory?

we received docs today for our cruise on the Victory, and were assigned upper deck, room 6262. anyone who has cruised on this ship know if this is a good location. looks good to us, and was an upgrade from an ov guar., so we are very happy with it. cruising 10/8 from norfolk, and can hardly stand the wait. first cruise!!!!!!!!!

Well I know that I would be happy with any balcony cabin!! Good for you!! :)

 

This looks like a good location to me. You will have cabins above you so no need to worry about noise from a public space up there and you are above the shops/lounge. This cabin is near the elevators yet forward of the last bank of elevators. Personally, I prefer to be fwd or aft of the last bank of elevators as I think it reduces hallway traffic.

We were in 6286, just down the hall last year, and loved it. Had a fabulous cabin steward -- Nelson, from the Phillippines. He took very good care of us! Looks like you are above a quite area......we were above the sports bar. Generally, not a problem, but one night during a big game that went into OT, it was quite loud. enjoy!

for the answers and opinions. i thought it looked good. one deck down to a lot of the action. we will be out late at night, and noise from below most likely would have never bothered us anyway. any more info on the Victory from past cruisers would be appreciated also.

We will be on the same sailing you are on! We just got upgraded to a balcony cabin on the Lido deck yesterday so it sounds like good news all around. Were in cabins 9269 and 9265 and Ive heard those are good locations. Hope yours is as well. Happy cruising!
