Need help 4X4 excursion vs. Dunn's River cruise/Dolphin Cove

Hi all,

We are trying to decide between the cruise to Dunn's River Falls/Dolphin Cove combo and the 4X4 Jeep Safari to Dunn's River Falls.

 

For anyone who has done the 4X4 excursion, here is my question: Do you get to drive your own jeep or does someone else drive it tour style? IS it hot up in the mountains area around Fern Gully? Are the views nice from this tour? We would love to see as much as we can of Ocho Rios but I'm not big on riding, I'd rather drive or have my DH drive because I get carsick rather easily.

 

If we don't do the 4X4, we'll do Dolphin Cove and Dunn's River via cruise. Anyone done this? We aren't planning to do the Dolphin Touch, just the visit. Anyone done this?
