Port or starboard on AOS for S. carribbean?

Hi all! Need help fast. Currently we are booked on the Port side for our Grand Suite. I was thinking that perhaps we should switch to starboard side for people watching. I love to sit on my balcony while coming and leaving from port. Does this ship usually pull straight in to the ports? If so, I need to switch my suite to the right side. Thanks for the quick response.

We were on the opposite itinerary as you, but the starboard side was best. The gangplanks were always on the starboard side as well, so I enjoyed sitting on our balcony and watching people in the morning and in the evening. We also has the best view of the islands from the starboard side except for in Antigua. Again, Im not sure about Aruba and Curacao, but for St. Maarten and St. Thomas, starboard is better, and of course people watching :) HTH

Aruba- port faces town and pier

Curacao - port faces town, don't know about pier

St Thomas - port faces bay and town, starborad pier and Havensite Mall

St Maarten - usually port faces mountain side and loading docks and starboard bay

There is no set way that they dock. It depends on winds and tide, but above is usual.
