self debarkation/Miami/flight times

If we do self debarkation in Miami on Liberty or Freedom, what time should I schedule a departing flight? I want plenty of time so we don't have to rush but don't want to sit in the airport for 3-4 hours.

 

Also, are there plenty of taxis waiting at the dock?

There are plenty of taxis waiting even for the early self debarkation. I have consistently made flights as early as 745am, but this is only because everything went according to schedule.

We just got off the Majesty yesterday morning in Miami.

 

There were 10 of us and our flight out wasn't until the afternoon. We actually poked around on the ship and were still off by 8:30 am. We very quickly got two cabs and were at the airport shortly after 9 am.

 

That was the fastest we've ever been.
