Anyone with kids on AOS 11/12/06?

Hi. I'm a widow with a 9 yr old daughter. This will be my first cruise without family or friends. Will RCCL automatically seat us with a large table or do I need to take care of this? I don't want to be seated with one couple who would rather have similar tablemates. Also, any suggestions on excursions? We'll be on the southern route that stops in Aruba.

May I respectfully suggest you post this on the Family cruise board and the Cruise Roll Call board? You might find others there on your same cruise that you can connect with . Also, go over to the RCCI board and post this as you might find some fellow cruisers who are bringing their children on board and they might also be able to point you in the right direction for shore excursions.
