Weelchair when tender in Princess

I am thinking about taking the Grand Princess in August 2007 for a Bristish Islands cruise. The ship, at least, tenders in Edinbourgh.

 

I have the experience with Celebrity and people in weelchair are brought on the tenders if sea is not rough; conversely, in Cunard you have to stay in the ship when tendered.

 

I tried to find Princess policy for weelchairs in its website but I found none. I would like to know if Princess policy for weelchairs when the ship tenders is similar to Celebrity or to Cunard, or a different one.

On Princess the decision on whether to allow wheelchairs on tenders is made on a case-by-case basis depending on the weather, heighth of waves, etc. When we cruised to Grand Cayman we had wonderful weather and several people in wheelchairs tendered to shore.

Yes, the policy on Princess is similar to Celebrity's. But, there are times that the Captain will deny tendering to those in wheelchairs (and usually everyone else, but not always) if the seas are too rough.
