HJK001 Posted September 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Is there enough room in a VE or VF room for a 7-night cruise? We're booking on the Oosterdam. I realize we can make the jump to the S-Series rooms, but they are $500 more a person for just another 150 sq. feet. Trying to decide if it's worth it.......... Thanks, Heidi :)
bepsf Posted September 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2006 You can do it - but it ends up looking like a dorm room w/ all the beds pulled out and luggage (there isnt room enough for clothing storage for all 3 people) I'd suggest going for an SS/SY, or finding a 4th person to come along and share a 2nd stateroom. karen2cruz Posted September 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I agree with the above. It would be very cozy. My 18 year old son and I found it just right for two. Cant imagine a third person sharing with us. If you stay in the V category,I hope you are all very good friends:) ;)
LolaWiz Posted September 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2006 i will be honest with yuo... my in-laws had a VA and it was a bit cramped with two. I am sure it could be done especially if you are rarely going to be in the room, but just pack light! :)
CruisinGrams Posted September 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2006 Not sure if the Westerdam has bigger staterooms, but we have plenty of room for 3 adults and a child. All the luggage fit under the beds and in the closet space, which was adequate. We did not pack light for Alaska either. But we are a close family and did not mind any minor inconvenience. The beds could be left separate with the overhead bunk for a person and you still have the couch.
